On the Southeast Corner of 58th Street & First Avenue. Come visit!

Friday, March 26, HAND AND HEART, 8 PM

What is the source of creativity? What is the work in art or craft? Perhaps the material worked on is also the person engaged in the process. Join us for the first of a series of explorations on the artistic process.

Three artists who teach at the Artsweekend each July, will explore their aims and efforts to produce high quality work in a variety of materials: Sylvia March will explore the mysteries of pottery making; Suzanne Punch will demonstrate painting on silk and Barbara Spiegel will describe how she teaches creating a character in acting class. There will be opportunities for hands-on experience and participation. For more information on the artists and Artsweekend visit: Artsweekend.com
Suggested donation: $15 ($10 students and seniors)
