“Join me on a journey of stories from many spiritual paths that tell of our heavenly aspirations and our earthly goof-ups. Hasidic tale, Lakota fable, Taoist folktale chart our crazy, non-linear path to the Oneness. We’ll have to take some detours on the way- nigguns (melodies) you’ll think you know and maybe you do, and sign-posts of poems about our relationship with all things. Will you have fun if you come? Ten kings, two ants, and a little mouse all say: Probably Yes!
“Carole Forman is an absolute master at her craft” (Jacqueline Rose, Youth Services Supervisor, Public Library, Lake Oswego, OR), who brings “the delight of vivid theater” (Hassan Suhrawardi Gebel, Secretariat of the Sufi Order) “with the magic of her voice, her humor, her flexible, graceful and yielding body we see it all” (Carol Fox Prescott, acting teacher). “We were tuned into her every word..” (The Rev. Robin Long, Pastor, Suttons Bay Cong. Church, MI)) “She made us laugh…she made us cry…at times, both at once.” (Froma Fallik, Boulder JCC, CO). ”Her storytelling is electrifying! A taste of heaven!” ((Rabbi Aaron Raskin, Cong. B’nai Avraham, Brooklyn, NY).
Carole Forman is a baal misaper ruchani (Hebrew for master spiritual storyteller). An actor and singer-chanteuse (on Broadway once), she fell in love with storytelling, studied in the Jewish Spirit Maggid Training Program, and has been delighting audiences throughout the U.S. and Canada. She’s a native New Yorker and a mystic traveler.
